We will be arriving Monday afternoon for 9 nights at TI condos. We have reserved a couple cars from Andys for our entire stay.

We are trying to save a few dollars and do a few shore dives in between boat dives. What our some of the best shore dives with easy access?

Try Turtle Farm Reef at the Cracked Conch, also Eden Rock just South of George Town and Don Fosters dive shop is right off Casuarina Point Reef. You can rent your tanks right from the shops on the premises. Also do a search in the diving forum and you will find additional suggestions for shore dives around the island.

Hello again balashi! wave

There is a well known site that several dive magazine has written articles on called Babylon on the Northside of the island....one of the best shore dives on the island for experienced swimmers and advanced divers. Easy access with automobile, and close to the water however entry can be slippery....

Joe has some great posts and pictures on this in the following link: Diving

Enjoy!

Smith's Cove is a nice dive with an easy entry. Swim out to the mooring ball and drop down there. It's a public beach (no dive shop), so you'll have to rent tanks somewhere else.

Babylon is a great dive, BUT the entry can be quite rough and the site can be nearly un-diveable if the weather isn't cooperating. If you're coming from SMB, it can easily be a 45 minute drive each way. I'm not saying don't do it, but understand that you could end up spending most of the day in the car only to scrub the dive due to conditions.

I'll be staying on the Northside - it sounds like Babylon is a good site.

Is Deila's Delight a good shore dive?

Does anyone know what the name of the place is near Deila's Delight west of Driftwood Village with the orange roof & pool near the ocean?
