Brief Bio:

Cathy Church has been photographing the beautiful underwater world since 1967. She has a Masters degree in Marine Biology, and is recognized as one of the world's foremost teachers and authors on underwater photography. She received the NOGI award for the arts (a national U.S. award) in 1987, the DEMA "Reaching Out Award" in 2000 and was inducted into the Woman Divers Hall of Fame in 2000. She was on the founding board of governors of the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame to be housed in the Cayman Islands, and was inducted into the Woman Diver Hall of Fame in March 2000. She is also a member of the Explorer's Club.

Visiting the Cayman Islands and not going to see the Cathy Church gallery would be like going to Paris and not seeing the Louvre. This is a true Cayman must-do if ever there was one.

Hey Joe... Nice job!!! I like how you dissolved in and out of the moving video. It really does smooth out the transitions. Makes for good flow, especially with the mellow music. Keep up the good work!! ThumbsUp

Joe...LOVED IT..........definitely getting digital underwater camera there in October......not that my $5.00 throwaway hasn't brought laughter and amusement to many.....but y'all just WATCH what happens when I get one of those baby's in my hand! Rolling Eyes

Cathy Church's gallery is a wonderful place to visit and we make a point to stop in there every year to see what's new.....the video is great, Joe! Cathy's enthusiastic personality comes across so well!

I did have some trouble getting the video to play till the end, and I had to ask Joe for help and be a little creative in order to see the whole thing. I'm wondering if anyone else has also had this problem or knows what I might be doing wrong. computerbash

I have a Mac and am using the newest OSX operating system (Tiger), and I have a high speed connection with a cable modem. I have absolutely no problem watching any of Joe's other videos except for this one and the one of Pappagallo's restaurant. In both cases, they stop after about 40% has played. They get kind of jerky and then stop. Always in the same place. The only way I was able to watch it was to copy the URL address of the video and paste that into a new browser window. Then, that opened up Windows Media Player and I could watch it. That was Joe's suggestion (thanks!), but he's not sure why I'm having this trouble to begin with. :?

Is anyone else having the same problem or does anyone have any suggestions for something I can check on my computer?

These videos are excellent. I remember meeting Herb and its good to see him again. He gave me a good deal on a Nikon, nice guy and Cathy too. Smile
