We'll be in port from 7am until 4pm, which hotel should we hang out at that has the nicest facilities, spa, beach, restaurants, pools, etc. etc. Thanks, Maxine

Hello to the max! wave

Many folks here stay at Royal Palms....where the web cam is, here you can just go to the bar and then meander around and hang out. However some Hotels frown upon non-guests using their facilities, while others require you pay a usage fee. Hopefully someone with more info will chime in in regards to the Westin, Marriott, and the Hyatt.

RC

You can not just " hang out " at the resorts. For the most part, the facilities are limited to stay-over guests who are paying a high nightly rate to have access to the hotel's amenities. Restaurants and bars are open to the public, of course, but you will not be permitted to use the pool, lounge chairs etc. Some hotels will sell day passes during a slow season but doubt that happens during high season when the hotels are pretty booked. Don't risk going where you might not be welcome. The Royal Palms offers everything you need to enjoy a day on the beach, and is more than welcoming to cruisers.
