We will be cruising in July. Can you rent chairs at the Royal Palms for the day? How much are they? How far from the cruise docks is it and how much will the taxi ride there cost?

Welcome to the forum dthames Smile ,

No charge for the use of the chairs at Royal Palms! Of course, you'll want to have lunch and/or a drink or two while you're there.....or rent some of the fun water toy stuff....but there's no charge for the use of the facility.

Not sure about cab fares......wouldn't think it would be more than $5 or so, but I really don't know for sure.

I've heard that Royal Palms tends to get very crowded. Is there a more seculded alternative you'd recommend for someone looking for a beautiful spot on 7 mile beach with some amenities and possibly chair rentals?

I've heard on the boards here that Cemetary Beach is beautiful, but are there any amentities at all?

There are no facilities at Cemetary....no chairs, tables, restrooms or food.

It also gets quite crowded on cruise ship days and people jockey to find their place on the beach.
