Joe,

Is this a good spot for small kids to play in the water? Also, how far is it from Treasure Is.? We are planning on coming in June/July.

tracya,

Allow me to respond on Joe's behalf.

As for the water conditions being suitable for young children, provided there is adequate adult supervision, should not be a problem in June/July.

As for the travel distance from Treasure Island to Cayman Kai, I'd say about 40-45 minutes by car, depending on the time of day, traffic conditions and rate of speed.

Be mindful that if you are interested in staying on the Northside, Cayman Kai or Rum Point areas, you will need to rent a car for your stay. Take a look at the maps in the online version of the CAG by clicking the buttons above so you can get a sense of where Cayman Kai is in relation to SMB.

jpep,

Thanks for the info. As for the kids what I should have asked is it a good wading area or snorkling. They still like the water to be below their waist. It looks like a beautiful area but I think we'd like to stay closer to Georgetown and more on 7mb. Thanks for the info anyhow!!
