I highly recommend this condo to anyone seeking very affordable and more remote accommodations with a beautiful beach and average snorkeling. To get from here to town you must pass through the congestion zone so this is not the best place for anyone planning on doing extensive traveling around the island. It is best suited for those who prefer a more quiet and relaxing vacation at the most affordable price. There is absolute peace and quiet here, absent of any construction noise, traffic or congestion. There are many Activity Guide approved restaurants and activities in the immediate to short term area, without ever having to pass through the congestion zone. Wink

Beautifully designed and landscaped, inner tranquility sets in as soon as you step onto the property. Situated on one of the most beautiful stretches of white sand beach on the island. They offer lighted tennis courts on site with golf courses nearby.

Open airy Caribbean design. Clean and charming.

They have clean cozy bedrooms and large open living spaces with Caribbean decor; All units have a large screened in balcony or porch.

Spacious modern Caribbean style living spaces and modern bedrooms with extra cable televisions.

They have well-appointed private baths and modern fully-equipped kitchens with every amenity.

Each suite has two bedrooms and two complete baths and full kitchen facilities. Each has been uniquely decorated by its owner to enhance this tropical getaway in the Caribbean.

They have an expansive white sand beach, combined with just enough rocky reef areas to afford good near-shore snorkeling.

I am not really new, I've just been lurking in the woods for a couple of months now. I have been following your posts about the hotel search, and was waiting for you to get all of the condos in there. I already rented my car from Andy's and have just about everything here printed out, hole punched, and put into a 3-ring binder. I have learned so much about the Cayman Islands from everyone here it feels like I have already been there. I can't wait to go! Razz

I am trying to get a room for Discovery point in July. I tried to send a request in through the 'hotel search/special rates' feature on this site, but never got a response. What is the best way to get a room booked at the best price?

When did you submit your quote request on the Hotel Search page? I think the premise is that a reply will come directly from each property you are interested in within 48 hours.

Joe, if you are around I need your assistance. I requested information from Discovery Point last week and again on Saturday and they aren't responding. I even emailed them separately from the Activity Guide. We wanted to check availability and price for 7 nights March 14-21 for 4 adults and 2 children (4 and 6 years old).

If you can be of help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

grwoolf - I sent Ollie at Discovery Point an email last week when I saw your post. I have not received a reply from her yet either so I am a little concerned. Ollie always replies to my messages almost immediately.

Travelnut732 - I just sent Ollie another email regarding grwoolf and also asked her to contact you.

If you do not receive a reply by tomorrow I recommend contacting The Anchorage. You will find their contact information in their topic in this forum; just send an email and tell them you are an Activity Guide member or select them in our Hotel Search.

If the Discovery Point problem is not resolved by the time I return to Cayman next week, I'll stop by and find out what's going on. I apologize for the inconvenience and I will identify and rectify the issue as quickly as possible.

I never received a response from anyone from Discovery Point Club. I had cleared reservations for London House but by the time I went to book the flight, those reservations were gone too. I think I'm going to have to give up on Activity Guide and call these condos when I find a decent airfare. It just takes too long to coordinate one part before the other parts disappears. crying

I called Ollie at Discovery Point as soon as I got back and she said her office had been closed for several days while they were doing rennovations. Send her another email, cc me and I will follow up. I meant to post about this right away but I just upgraded to Windows Vista and I have not been able to log on until just now.

It's Sunday night at about 7:00 p.m.. I just send another request through Activity guide and also an email to DPC. I wasn't sure when you said email if you meant thru the Activity Guide or normal email so I sent both.
