The Latest on the Brac Reef Resort

Last night I had the opportunity to chat with Kyle Hooker, the superintendent of the reconstruction of the Brac Reef Resort. He expects to have the guest quarters ready by December 1st, with remaining work to be finished shortly thereafter. It's been a while since being destroyed by Paloma, but the new Brac Reef Resort is going to be ready soon..... and better than the original!

Hey Brakker,

Thanks for the update on the Brac Reef Resort. Have they reconstructed their pier and open air building at the end of it? I loved walking around it and looking at all the tarpon and other sea life in the shallow water. That was one of my favorite features of their property.

Hope to see the new place soon.

The pier is not being constructed at this time. It was one of my favorites too. Bonnie and I would take leftovers from dinner down for all those fishes.... the tarpon would make short work of a french fry!
