Tourist Hospitalized in Critical Condition
From Caymanian Compass

Quote:
A tourist was hospitalised in critical condition Wednesday after she got into difficultly during a snorkelling trip.

Witnesses on Seven Mile Beach early in the afternoon saw a crew from Red Sail Sports bringing the woman into shore for medical assistance around 1pm–2pm.

Red Sail Manager Rod McDowall said the woman was on a trip aboard one of the company’s catamarans. She’s a passenger on one of the cruise ships docked at Grand Cayman today.

The woman has not been identified by police.

This is the second major watersports incident on Grand Cayman in the past two weeks. On 23 February, 75–year–old Robert Stueben of Pennsylvania died after getting into trouble during a snorkel along Seven Mile Beach.

I am new here and planning a trip in May. So are you implying that Red Sail was some how responsible for the injuries to this woman?

Wasn't there an issue last year sometime about Red Sail leaving a snorkeler from their excursion behind?
Personally I would not use Red Sail on any island......they are a monopoly as far as I'm concerned and are more expensive and more crowded than other excursion companies.
