Gasoline prices here on the Brac have recently dropped from $5.15 down to $4.70! Wow! That's almost 9%! I believe crude prices have dropped from over $140 to less than $65. That's over 50%. Hmmmmmm...... seems like the percentage relationship is somewhat skewed. Those folks at Texaco (the only retailer here) don't show much mercy, do they....

On the lighter side, for Grand Cayman residents and visitors, gasoline is a little less expensive there.

I'm thinkin' scooter!

Hi Brakker

Funny that you would bring that up tonight. I just drove by a gas station and was amazed to see one station with gas for 3.02---if it keeps going down does it mean that the rest of the economy is going further into the toilet?

Shelly :-)

Here in Telluride the prices have gone from 4.99 several weeks ago to 2.59. Down in the closest big town, it's around 2.30. Remember this is a ski town and everything here is more expensive. I almost can afford to do my 60 mile drive everyday! The sign going into town is suppose to say ICY CONDITIONS MAY EXIST. Instead someone has put PR in front of the ICY, so it says PRICY CONDITIONS MAY EXIST. And they do! BouncingLaugh

Shelly,
I sure hope the economy doesn't go further into that toilet! But I feel sure it will go back up. So does Warren Buffet. It always has. Enjoy the lower prices and, as Bob Marley said, "Don't worry".

Socagal08,
I thought the "Pricy conditions" sign was funny. We have no signs concerning ice, so I can't duplicate it here...... and I'm glad!
I'm wondering about your ID. Are you into soca dancing? Wifey and I go to the Wednesday night karaoke at Brac Reef resort and dance a little. We wouldn't win any dance-off prize, but we have lots of fun!
