From Caymanian Compass:

Airport?s short?term parking reopens

Monday 10th April, 2006 Posted: 15:47 CIT (20:47 GMT)

The short?term parking lot at Owen Roberts International Airport will reopen on Wednesday, according to officials with the Cayman Islands Airports Authority.

Officials also announced that new parking rates are in effect for both short? and long?term parking. Short?term parking costs $2 per hour, or any part of an hour. Long?term parking costs $7 per day, or any part of a day.

Fees for lost parking tickets remain the same: $25 for short?term, and $75 for long?term.

Parking violators on the airport compound are still subject to $75 wheel?lock fines.

All parking fees are payable at automatic pay stations, located near the meet?and?greet arrival area. Lost ticket fees and wheel?lock fines can be paid directly to the ground transport attendant on duty.
