OK, you guys have worn me down LOL. Char remembered in another post that I don't like creamy drinks but all this talk of mudslides has me craving them before I've ever even tasted one!

Can you order them frozen OR on-the-rocks or are they always frozen? Do they make them with rum down there? I think I saw Caymantwins likes the ones at Royal Palms - any other favorite places for a mudslide?

I'm getting thirsty! Jump

Mudslides are usually served frozen. I suppose you could get it not frozen...vodka, kahlua, bailey's, cream and ice.

I'm a fan of Royal Palms...period! Berkley does make the best mudslide and is by far my favorite bartender. I've know him for years and caught him on the webcam yesterday!

Rum Point has a really good mudslide and so does the Marriott. I prefer the fruit concoctions at Hard Rock and pay extra for the glass!

:palm:

In my restaurant, They are served frozen, but with ice cream. 1oz baileys, 1 oz vodka, 1oz kahlua, 2 scoops vanilla ice cream and half a scoop of crushed ice, in a blender. chocolate chip garnish. Hershey's syrup swirled on the inside of the glass before filling. OOps, I might get fired for giving out the coorporate recipe. Don't ask where, I'd like to keep my job thanks.

Wow, could I use a mudslide right now.

I'm posting on the forums while eating left over Mongolian Beef. I was paying too much attention to the posts and not enough to the food, so I ingested one of them hot pepper things. losecool

Man, even the dog was shocked by the language.

Kurtis, yours sound good. But try one at the swim up pool bar where we are staying. They fill the straw with Kahlua just before serving. That first sip really gets you going.

You know, I love a good mudslide, but they often are too choclaty for me. I think I will begin asking for them without that syrup on the side of the glass they always seem to put in there.

They are good though. Cool

Good God, Man! There is no such thing as too chocolatey!

But, if you're gonna tell 'em to hold off on the chocolate, tell them to save it and add it to my mudslides when I get down there next. Very Happy

First of all, not a man, although I can see how the av would make you think that.

Secondly, there is too such a thing as too much chocolate! For me anyway. Good mudslides at the beach bar at Rum Point!

I'm here! Had my first mudslide yesterday at rum point - OMG I'm sold! It was like a milkshake - ya should have said so earlier LOL. Didn't seem at all chocolatey though so I'll have to try some more martini

Anyway - Dave is out diving so I thought I'd pop in and say hey before heading out. We did the sub Monday and it was great. Yesterday we spent all day at Rum point - it rained, everyone left, and thats when we went in LOL. I snorkeled and swam for the first time! We saw fish and baby stingrays! Now I want flippers too - exchanged my mask for a child size one and no worries Smile got totally burned on my shoulders - ouch!

More later - happy days everyone - safe travels Knees and Shelly and all heading this way soon!
