When we try to purchase alcohol or go to a bar- what kind of identification do we need to take with us? Will we need to carry our passports with us for this? Or will places accept our state ids?

Thanks

I would think that a photo ID like a drivers license would be good enough. We have never used our passports except to get in or out of the country.

Some of you young people, chime in here. Our kids never had to use their passports, but it's been awhile for them too

We have always used our US Drivers License and never had a problem. Don't want to risk losing the passports!

Enjoy!

Thanks! Just wanted to make sure our driver license would be ok- didnt like the idea of risking losing our passports. Wanted to make sure before we got down there- as we still get asked if we are 21 here. lol.

Hmmmm....... Reminds me of the Kentuckian who saw the sign "Lobster Tail and Beer". "My three favorite things," he said as he wheeled in.
