Margarita Margarita Margarita

Who has the best margaritas (on the rocks)?? Confused As you can tell by my name, I LOVE margaritas, but I'm sort of a tequilla snob. Only the best agave goes in my margarita? Where have you had a great margarita. We'll be'll staying at the Marriott on Seven Mile Beach and won't have a car, so location is important too. Thanks in advance!

NOW YOUR TALKING!!!! ThumbsUp

I have searched all of the Americas for the Holy Grail of margharita's. Margarita Through extensive sampling and many nights crawling home, I have found a recipe that I use my self. This is the ultimate 007 top shelf marg. Jump Two will hit the spot and 4 will make you hit the floor lol. UpsideDown

You start with 3 large fresh limes sqeezed dry into shaker.

4 shots Cabo Wabo tequila

2 shoots of Grand Mariner

2 shots Cointreau

4 shots Jose' Cuervo Margharita mix

This makes 3 16 oz margs or 4 12 oz.

If you want alittle more "splash" and you have a large enough shaker, add

2 shots Gran gala

Guarranteed to leave a smile on your face.

Remember.. no drinking and driving or diving lol. Drive

I had a killer margarita on our trip. They coated the glass rim with vanilla extract and then dunked it into coarse sugar. Now where was that...?

Ah, it was at Chili's in the airport at Charlotte. Guess that doesn't do you any good, unless you are flying through CLT

Don't tempt me or I'll switch places with you Salann. I've already had my pre-trip-without-the-kids cry this morning. crying I really hate that they can't go with us. They've been more places at their ages then I've been in my entire life. I know they'll be fine...it's me I'm worried about. Rolling Eyes

Thank goodness I have to go to work today to keep my distracted! Neutral

Denise,

Oh how you sound like my wife. You'll be fine and missing your children makes the trip home a lot easier as you know you get the welcome home hugs and kisses. It is nice to be needed. Very Happy

Have a blast!

Federico (Fedde) at Legendz is one of the best bartenders on the island. Not only will he whip you one up on the rocks, but he'll remember you next time you come down and ask if you would like another margarita. it's kind of eery how good he is with faces *& drinks.

Freya at Cracked Conch's bar would be on the same level her cocktail menu is wicked-yummy. Smile
