You can see Heat perform at the Stinger's Luau Shows every Wednesday and Saturday at Comfort Suites.

I shot this last night at the Stingers Luau. Heat is a very popular local band, so I thought I'd make a separate little video with some of the extra footage. Sorry about the song selection - they are not a disco band, they were just trying to please everyone. They combine a unique blend of socca reggae and rock with their own style and vocal harmonies. I was busy with the Luau shoot and this was the only footage I had time to take where I was close enough to capture the soundtrack.

This is dedicated to Ginny. I asked them about their CD and they didn't have any there and said the only place they might be available is at some T-shirt store in town. :? I'll have Peggy try and track it down. They are not very aggressive with their CD marketing. Ginny, maybe you can come down and be their manager. Wink

That is really nice. Bummer about the CD, but I do so appreciate your hard work (and now Peggy's!) at tracking one down. Really, though, don't go to too much trouble. I just really like to listen to them. And I WILL be back, so I could try to find one the next time. Or the next, or the next....

I will certainly give your idea some consideration................. hmmmm......OK! I would be a great manager for them. I could set up my office on the beach! Tim may not be so appreciative of my new career choice, though.

My fiance and I saw them play this past friday night (August 12th) at Stingers at the Comfort Suites. This band is really so amazing. Joe is correct that they definitely are not a disco band. They can (and do) play just about every genre of music and they take requests. They have fantastic voices, the video doesn't do them justice. If you get a chance to see them live, you should definitely do so. We liked them so much that we booked them for our wedding next May.
