| |
We have been experiencing server side issues during the past week, which caused our forums and menu search databases to stop functioning for 2-3 hours on at least 2 separate occasions that I am aware of.
Database failure for a forum intensive site like ours is obviously a very serious problem and I have been working closely with our host's technical support to find a permanent fix, short of me monitoring our forums 24/7 and rebooting the container every time something malfunctions.
The latest fix is supposed to be permanent with automatic reboot so we should be back to our 99% up time. If it happens again, I will have to move our databases to a different server, which is a time consuming procedure that I would like to avoid if at all possible.
I apologize for any inconveniences our recent down times may have caused and appreciate your patience while we work to permanently resolve the issue. |
