| |
Please note the following addition to our TOS, which prohibits any member from creating and using more than one username. In the case of a household where several family members may share the same computer, you are of course free - indeed encouraged, to create individual usernames.
What I am specifically prohibiting, is the use of multiple usernames by the same person, with the intentional purpose of manipulating discussions, topic ratings, reviews, etc.
Like most of our other rule amendments, this is something I never even considered when first creating our terms of service. The actions of some people will never cease to amaze me.

| Members are allowed one username/ID per person. If you lose your password or forget your username, our automated systems will help you retrieve them; or you can email the Administrator for assistance. If you change your email address you can update your user profile to have your topic notifications sent to the new address. Family members sharing the same computer are encouraged to create individual user names. Creating multiple usernames for any other purpose is prohibited without prior consent from a moderator or administrator and may result in the suspension or permanent banning of one or all usernames involved. In extreme cases, such as where a member may have created multiple usernames to intentionally deceive other members or in any way manipulate discussions, reviews or ratings; or to mislead other members for any reason whatsoever, all usernames will be deactivated and in most cases all posts from all usernames will be removed. |
