Advertise for People to Post their Vacation Stories

Joe,

Our local paper ask for people who go on vacation to submit a picture and a short write-up of where they are and why they enjoyed the place where the picture was taken. Mayb be you could do the same in the CAG with the only requirement being the persons submitting the picture and write-up should be members of the CAG Forum. They should also not be GC residents. It would be nice if the persons/familys featured were from different countries each month to show how many people from different places around the world love GC. Only a suggestion.

Off to Santa Clara for a couple days and then Minneapolis for a couple days.....work Sad

Then on a plane from Cincy to Atlanta to GC on Friday. My wife and I are looking forward to our first visit to GC. If GC lives up to what everyone says on this forum it won't be our last visit!

Thank you Bdyer3 - If I am understanding you correctly, we are already doing something like that. We have a couple of rotating spots in the magazine that ask visitors to share their vacation experiences here on our forums. I think Char came up with the idea actually, it was a few years ago and it did increase our trip reports, photos, etc.

I am going to split our posts into a new topic; this topic is primarily for reporting problems with our website.

Thanks again for your suggestions and have a wonderful visit in Santa Clara. If it's the Santa Clara in CA, I grew up near there and worked in Silicon Valley for about ten years.

Silicon Valley is exactly where I'm going. We have a software Engineering and Support group located there. I must have missed the trip report in the CAG.

Bdyer3 - It may not have been in the issue at the time you were here. We rotate most of our editorial and the promotions for our forums are sometimes omitted due to space restrictions.
