Where Can We Get Activity Guide Magazine in Cayman?

where do you pick up the activity guide from?

Hi Dale:

We have over 200 locations island wide.

You will find them at the little arrivals desk at the airport in between Immigration and where you pick up your luggage. As soon as you go through Immigration look to the right and there will be a little booth filled with magazines, brochures, etc. Please disregard all other magazines and take only Activity Guide. We offer visitor information, general Cayman Islands information, photos, discounts, detailed maps, editorials, reviews coupons discounts and general candid information that will assure you of the most memorable, highly valued and crowd free vacation imaginable. There is more information and savings in Activity Guide than all other magazines combined.

Activity Guide is distributed throughout the entire Seven Mile Beach area but as you are staying in East End, it would be a good idea to pick one up at the airport.

For everyone staying near Seven Mile Beach, here's a list of some locations where you will find Activity Guide Magazine.

• Your hotel or condo, wherever it is. If you do not see it, please ask to speak to the GM and ask him/her where it is

• All Car Rental companies

• All Seven Mile Beach gas station mini marts

• The Strand - By Fosters Food Fair

• Galleria Plaza

• West Shore Centre

• Buckingham Square - By Big Daddy's Liquor

Joe,

Have to tell you what we did with your book......we kind of go through a lot of wine wine

(oh, ok, and rum) while on vacation in the Caymans. When we went to Big Daddy's to stock up, we simply brought the entire Activity Guide Book along. They never, never asked us to tear the coupon out, just saw that we had it, and then gave us the 10% discount! Told us to save it for another time......which, of course, we did!

Talk about recycling!

It's really the BEST magazine, and we've gotten them all!

I do have one suggestion I feel I can make on behalf of EVERYONE...NO ONE wants to see those bikini models on the cover.......we are all hoping to just see fish, an occasional coral photo or maybe food....... :-D

any men ridiculously disagreeing with this, I WILL email wives.......! Bash

Celine - I've gotten good and bad remarks about using beautiful women on the covers, although not all are in bikinis. The feedback has been mostly positive, or I would have changed the format long ago.

This gives me an idea...

I will start a poll and make changes based on the results. My objective is to make the magazine as appealing to everyone as possible. It is also getting harder and harder to find attractive models wanting to pose in bikinis, while I have thousands of underwater shots that I could use for free.

There are some restrictions. I need to use carnival shots for April/May - Cayfest and Batabano festivals. Dining shots for Taste of Cayman in June/July; and something for Christmas. The rest of the months could be pretty much anything.

I'm off to start the poll... split

Caymantwins, that shot of your two beatutiful twins on the beach with their little footprints in the sand might make an excellent cover. Would you be willing to "donate" a high resolution shot of that for a cover?

I'd be honored to donate a shot of the girls for the magazine. I just posted another one of them by the pool in my photo posting - it's one of my favorites.

I would appreciate it if you'd send me a few copies of the Activity Guide if you use their photo. I'd want them to have copies for their memory capsules. Smile

well, I am SHOCKED and DISMAYED that my photos weren't requested.........and I have more turtles! :-D besides I would've had twins if I had known they were going to be on the cover....... Wink

Also, perhaps we can go back and erase the part where I said no bikini models........my newfound popularity will take a serious nosedive!

Just put someone else's name on THAT post!

Truthfully, those little cutie pies would be GREAT for the cover but you didn't hear it from me!

The babysitting is for free............you just have to take me with you to Cayman and put me up somewhere (should've probably added that MINOR detail!)

Actually, that would be a great piece of information to accompany that cover photo........know of people who tried to have little miracles like that in their lives and it didn't happen UNTIL they went on vacation........and they only went to Maine!

Could be another way to get people to paradise......like we needed ANOTHER ONE!
