| |
I am extremely happy to be getting so many new members during the last week or so. As season approaches I am expecting even more and you couldn't have possibly found a better place to come for all of your information, pictures, videos, discounts, etc. We pride ourselves in helping everyone experience the most incredible and affordable Cayman vacations imaginable. Our members will typically spend a far greater portion of their vacation time actually enjoying themselves, as opposed to learning many things the hard way. And, our members will typically spend at least 10% less than anyone else if they take advantage of all the suggestions and discounts. The more of you the better, please tell your friends and mention us at every site you visit. We want as many members as possible and value every single one of you.
That said, the amount of PMs (private messages) I have been receiving lately has grown to a level that no normal person could possibly manage. If you have a question or suggestion of a truly personal nature, then please - by all means, feel free to PM me. My [PM] door is always open to you. However, 90% of the PMs I receive are about things that could easily be discussed in open forum and in many cases the answers have already been posted. The nature of a message board is the free exchange of information, so sending a PM in many cases deprives others of the answers to the questions you ask. If you are wondering about it, chances are someone else is too. The exception is mentioning places that have not been Activity Guide approved, in which case you must PM me prior to mentioning them. However, in almost all cases, the answer will be: "please contact the owners of that establishment and have them contact me directly to be considered for promotion on this message board". If this is the case, you could save us both a lot of time by simply contacting the establishment directly, leaving me out of the initial loop.
Our search features are very sophisticated and will provide the answers to most questions in a matter of seconds. The one on the top will search the entire site for all information pertaining to a given keyword, while the smaller message board search button will return a search of all posts, topics, videos, pictures, etc. on the message board. For example, if you wanted to know how to get the best rate at a specific condo, you would select the message board search button and enter: condo name and reservation. That would return several topics with all the information, pictures and how to receive your Activity Guide discount.
In other words, and in the nicest possible way, I am asking you to please not use me as a search engine. |
