Kaibo is located on Grand Cayman's tranquil Northside, making it the ideal place for a remote getaway. Visitors staying in the Seven Mile Beach area can drive to Kaibo in about 45 minutes, depending on traffic. Or, take advantage of Kaibo's Water Taxi service, which affords a scenic boat ride across the north sound and eliminates the risk of an accident or ticket after a day or evening of dining and drinking. The snorkeling near Kaibo is very good and diverse, with starfish and other interesting creatures in 1-3 foot depths that are not often found at any other snorkel locations throughout the Cayman Islands. Their protective cove and sheltered lagoon, combined with the gentle sloping white sand beach makes this one of the easiest areas on Grand Cayman to enter and exit the water. Unlike most ares with easy entry, there is much to see close to shore. For deeper snorkeling or scuba diving, we recommend walking across the street from Kaibo to Cayman Kai Public Beach, where the water is clearer at greater depths.
